Moorehead Joins NHRS Board; Four Trustees Reappointed

Bruce Moorehead is the newest member of the Board of Trustees of the New Hampshire Retirement System. Moorehead, the administrator of the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown, was nominated by Gov. Maggie Hassan to represent county employers on the NHRS Board. He was unanimously confirmed for a two-year term by the Executive Council on Aug. 5. In addition, four current Trustees were reappointed for two-year terms in July and August.

NHRS Deploys Email Encryption Software

NHRS recently deployed ZixCorp email encryption software to increase protection of personal information for members, beneficiaries, and employers.

NHRS to Discontinue Mailing Member Annual Statements

Beginning in the fall of 2015, NHRS will discontinue mailing Member Annual Statements. The statements will be available online via My Account, the retirement system’s secure online portal. Click the read more link to see answers to some common questions concerning this transition.

Insurance Project Impacts Current, Retired State Employees

The state Department of Administrative Services has initiated a medical insurance dependent eligibility verification project for state of New Hampshire employees and retirees. This project is being conducted by an outside vendor contracted by the state. The New Hampshire Retirement System is not involved in this effort.
