CONCORD, NH – Fiscal Year 2025 Member Annual Statements for all New Hampshire Retirement System (NHRS, the retirement system) members who are not yet retired have been posted to My Account, the retirement system’s secure online portal.

The annual statement provides personal data about member accounts including service, wage, contribution, and beneficiary information. An FAQ and informational graphic explaining how to read the statement, and describing the NHRS benefit provisions, is also available on the retirement system website.

You may notice that your statement will look different than previous years and no longer includes a projected benefit for vested members. Members who would like to run their own estimate can do so on My Account.

If you haven’t set up a My Account, now is a good time to do so. Don’t worry, signing up is easy. Visit the retirement system’s website for step-by-step instructions.

When you view your statement, check that all your personal information is correct. Key areas to review include:

  • Beneficiary Information Please verify that your designated beneficiary is current and correct. Consider updating this information after major life changes like marriage, divorce, having children, or if your beneficiary passes away. To update your beneficiary, download the Beneficiary Designation form from the forms page of the NHRS website and submit it through My Account or by mail.
  • Service Credit Please check your years and months of credited service. This information directly impacts your future retirement benefit amount. If you have questions about your service credit, please call our office for support.
  • Personal Information Review your name, birth date, address, and phone number for accuracy. Contact your employer directly to make any changes to your personal information.

We encourage you to review your statement each year. If you have any questions about your retirement benefits, please don't hesitate to reach out.
