When an employee terminates and retires through the New Hampshire Retirement System (NHRS), NHRS sends the employer a termination form to verify final wage information and any post-termination payments.
NHRS has recently streamlined this process by consolidating four separate forms into two, making it easier to identify, complete, and submit the correct documentation.

Note that NHRS cannot finalize a retiree's pension benefit until the completed form is received. Delays may affect benefit processing for the former employee.
