This presentation will provide instruction on how to fill out an NHRS Group II Retirement Application Packet for Service Retirement. Much like an in-person appointment the presenter will help to prepare you for retirement by assisting you with completing the application packet via a live demo.
The webinar is geared toward members planning to retire in the next 3-12 months. If retirement is farther away than 12 months, we recommend that you attend a Group I (Employee and Teacher) Summary webinar. Summary webinars are scheduled monthly (https://www.nhrs.org/meetings-events/) and a recorded version of the presentation can be found on the NHRS website at: https://www.nhrs.org/education
Please note that the application packet for Group I (employee and teacher) members is different than the application packet for Group II (police and fire) members. Separate presentations will be scheduled for Group II members.
